Without delay The Startup Coach Toronto’s Entrepreneur mentor kicked off the evening. First off a TorontoStarts update. Notably, having grown to over 7100 members TorontoStarts is Toronto’s entrepreneur & Startup community.  After 3 years of working with over 28000 entrepreneurs, the Startup Coach developed a series of workshops and crash courses.  In brief, these courses are designed to take an entrepreneur from idea to launch. Ultimately giving them the skills to succeed and scale.  Such as Idea Validation and Business Model Canvas Workshops. In addition to Marketing & PR, Social Media Workshop, and Startup Law.  At the Same time, the 3 hour Crash courses include Growth Hacking Crash Course , SEO Crash Course, Social Media Crash Course.

 

TorontoStarts has monthly Startup Social Open Bar – Open Pitch – Open Network events.   Including cryptocurrency corner for the digital currency inclined.

Startup Pitch Competition is on March 28 a Dragon’s Den Style pitching event for cash and prizes.  The Startup Launch Accelerator program is accepting applicants for it’s next cohort.

He talked talked about what happened with Bitcoin in 2017.  In addition to the history of bitcoin crashes.  Followed by what we are seeing so far from cryptocurrency & Bitcoin in 2018.  Concluding with what we can expect from bitcoin 2018 futures along with all cryptocurrency 2018 futures.

First up on the panel, Pulat Yunusov litigation lawyer joined and Cryptocurrency author.  Next, Cali Haan of Crpytochicks joined. In addition, Genia Mikhalchenko of the Blockchain Research Institute.  Lastly, Scot Johnson founder of Digital Shovel Cryptocurrency mining company.  Together with the Startup Coach moderating the panel.  With this in mind, the fun continued with the questions.  For example, How is the value of cryptocurrency determined?  Then what is going on with cryptocurrency regulation in the US?  As well as, How do you choose what coin to invest in?  Similarly What does the ban of cryptocurrency ads on facebook and other social media mean?  Moreover, How long does it really take to develop a blockchain app?  Together with Is cryptocurrency an asset, a commodity, or a security?  Additionally, How will the upcoming regulation impact pricing and trading?  Comparatively How can I pay the least fees when buying and selling?  

As can be seen it was a very interactive and informative panel.  Eventually concluding with over an hour of networking. Notably, with the great crypto community, speakers, and special guests.  Thank you to Wokhaus for hosting us!
