About Velocity incubator — Waterloo
Velocity accepts applications year-round and onboards teams every two months. Founders must make the startup their primary focus; new teams are expected to work at Velocity at least one day per week for their first three months. University of Waterloo affiliation is not required. The program asks for concrete customer-discovery evidence and a clear description of the product and team. Support includes coaching, workspace and hardware or lab resources where appropriate. Velocity states that it charges no fees and takes no equity for this support. The incubator is distinct from its sister investment fund.
