About Arcanus Aerial Systems
Arcanus Aerial Systems develops and integrates unmanned aerial systems from Toronto for defence, public safety and infrastructure customers. Its work combines aircraft with software, communications and mission equipment through technology and manufacturing partners. Its portfolio includes the AB 516e vertical-takeoff fixed-wing aircraft, AC 5250 cargo platform and counter-drone systems. In June 2026, Arcanus announced a five-year, non-exclusive production arrangement with FeralX Systems for Canadian components and assemblies against approved purchase orders, with no guaranteed minimum volume. Arcanus also committed C$1 million to an equity investment in FeralX, subject to closing. On October 21, Arcanus announced Pedram Nowroozi’s appointment as CTO and an agreement to acquire Woodbridge-based Infinit Drones and Nested Technologies. An immediately effective joint venture allows the teams to collaborate while that acquisition is completed. Separately, investor Yazan Al Homsi reported a US$500,000 investment in Arcanus on October 23. His release disclosed no other terms and specified no operational, advisory or board role.
